crickets behavior investagation

QUESTION : Do crickets prefer wet or dry land?
BACK ROUND RESEARCH :  Crickets both wet and dry areas. But crickets mostly prefer dry areas but the eat and lay there eggs in wet areas then they also grow there food in wet areas too. But when crickets are really thirsty they go to grass and get water. I guess they eat or suck on the plant. Crickets like to have sex in wet areas. They make the babies or eggs in the water most of the time. But mostly they like dry land they only do a couple things in the water not a lot of stuff.

What I did was look at where the cricket moved. Then after looking where they moved I saw which side the cricket liked better wet area or dry. Occur ding to my research the crickets like the wet side better. But the crickets like to stay active they are always moving they cant stop. But sometimes it could be even the crickets can go on both sides. The first cricket we had really moved a lot but the second one hated moving the cricket only stood in one spot the whole time it was lazy.

What I learned was that the crickets really like the wet. They like to move around a lot too. They can also stay in one spot for a really long time. The skinny cricket cricket 1 was really active and would not stop moving then the cricket 2 would not move cause it was fat. I learned that crickets really like to move and they can really stay still .

This Week in Science #6

this is a very rare and ugly cricket
these are lots of different and good jellybeans
This week in science I did a projects about jelly beans and crickets again. I had to see how the crickets acted. Then we had to see if the crickets like wet areas better than dry areas. I noticed that many crickets liked wet area much better. Then I also noticed that many of the crickets didn't like to move and then some of the crickets don't know how to stop moving. I also had to do a project with dividing jelly beans and i have to make lots of groups. I had to separate the jelly beans by patterns colors and etc.

This week  in science I learned about how u can divided lots of things in lots of categories. You can separate jelly beans in lots of different categories and that's pretty cool and there is a lot of jelly beans. I also learned this week how to make different ways to record how a cricket acts. We can make a chart of how many times the cricket moves and where the cricket moves. We can also make a chart where you count how long the cricket stays in one place. Then we had to see if crickets the crickets like to stay in wet areas or dry areas.

this week in science #5

I learned about the different  behavior of animals. I learned about some funny looking parrot. First the parrot was acting really scared and then out of the blue it started to attack the man that was trying to take a picture. But the teacher aka david said that the bird was trying to mate which means get with the man. I also learned about cat behavior. The cat video was really funny with two cats fighting. Then while the cats were fighting there was two bird there just like watching and flying around. Then when the cat ran away the birds followed them. Then after that at the end of the day i saw about four to five more videos and saw how protective deer can be to the calf.

This week in science we also watched lots of videos. I also observed crickets. we had to see what they did on how they reacted. Then after that we had to draw different angeles. Then when we were done with  that we had to label the part of there body that we drew. but most of the pictures i drew look weird because the crickets would not stay still. then lots of the people at my table were afraid of the crickets so it was pretty funny.
