This Week In Science #4

               this week in  science we did the plant investigation and we saw how the plant grew or not. then the next day we started to use the  computers and i had to do the illustrations. i did the first plant drawing with how the plant looked before it was grown. i drew a picture of how the plant looked when we first planted the seeds. then when i had to draw the plant how it look right now. it was a good drawing and i had to draw how it looked fully grown. i did lots of fun things this week .


                i learned this week in science  how to improve my illustration on the computer so it would be better than my last one. i learned how to draw my own plant on computer with out using shapes. i used the tool called scribble. so instead of making shapes to make my illustration i just drew them myself. i also learned how to lower the font on things so i could bring words in front of a picture. i learned that i can use shapes on the computer to make lots of things. like i could use simple straight lines to make roots for a plant.

this week in science #3

             this week in science i did the project with  the brassica rapa. i started to grow them so the are not that tall bu they are pretty tall. i had to make a hypothesis about the plant and how it is going to grow. i had to see how much water i have to give to each of them. then when i finished that i had to see which plant would grow the highest. then after that i had to record how much water i put in. then i had to continue that for the rest of the week. then Jamie showed me how important it is to add detail to your writing.

            this week in science i learned that it is very important to add details to your writing. i noticed that if you don't write good your work may seem different to other people reading. i also learned the way to set up y hypothesis. i learned only a couple things this week.  
 

This Week In Science #2

           this week in science i did the experiment with the poppers. i had to see how high they poped and make lots of hypothesizes. then after that experiment i did a other plant investigator. i had to see the different variables i could use to do the investigation more different. i had to do like how much more water i would add or how much soil i would put in . most of the week i was changing a lot of variables. i also had to plant a flower called the brassica rapa. this week was pretty fun.
         
          i learned this week that poppers can go really high. i also learned that sometimes the way u hold a popper it can change the height. sometimes if u put a popper in a popper it can go higher. then after i learned about the popper i learned about a new flower called the brassica rapa. it is a plant that grow to the adult form in two weeks. that pretty cool . i also learned that the brassica rapa can make mustard. i also did some research and learned some cool crazy things for example the plant the brassica rapa can be used as a weed i California.
